Safeguarding

At Spear we want to be a safe place for all. In particular we put an incredibly high value on the safety of our young people. As such all our volunteers are interviewed and DBS checked before being appointed.

Any organisation among young people is working towards keeping children and young people safe and sound. With this in mind we have produced this ‘Guidance for Volunteers’ document provided to all those volunteering or employed to work with children or young people in the church. The ‘Safeguarding Policy’ is a full account of the guidelines by which we as a church work when it comes to our Children and Youth ministries.
